Telemobile Joins USTTI Sponsored 1998 Telecommunication System Planning Program:
Training to Spotlight SMR, Wireless, Pair Gain and Concentrator Systems
Torrance, CA May 26, 1998
.Telemobile Inc., through its ongoing relationship
with The United States Telecommunications
Training Institute (USTTI), a non-profit joint venture between U.S.
communications industry leaders and ranking officials of the Federal Government,
is sponsoring tuition-free telecommunications system training in a weeklong
series. In the announcement, Vice President of Marketing Dan Thomas pointed
out; "This is our seventh year of participation, bringing qualified individuals
from many developing countries the most up-to-date technological advances
for wireless telecommunications systems planning."
Participants will receive a comprehensive understanding of the economics
and technical planning requirements for Pair Gain, Line Concentrators and
Wireless Systems. Those attending will learn how to avoid the pitfalls resulting
from improper planning for supplying voice, fax and data service to remote
areas. They will also get hands-on experience for installing and operating
the complete range of systems including concentrators with the latest V.5
interface specifications.
These specifications, mandated by European, Asian, and African telecom service
providers, have been developed by Telemobile's strategic partner in Europe
and are covered in Telemobile's wireless point-to-point and point-to-multipoint
systems planning course. This training also includes mobile and handheld
telephones and covers the full range of low cost phone links to full area
TDMA wireless local loop technology.
Two-day orientation starts June 12th, and training begins June 15th and ends
June 19th, 1998, with all training to be held in the Los Angeles metropolitan
area.
